For this Friday Illustration, I decided to make my art a little simpler, instead of the more intricate things I had been doing. For the satellite, I decided on the moon because it is spectacular. I traced the circles and then smeared the craters. Lastly, I painted in the background to show the pitch darkness of space.
Nice Hannah that was a great idea. I like the backround how it's not just one solid color of black it has different shades of blackness.
ReplyDeleteWell done! I appreciate the stark simplicity in this artwork, your use of tools to create it (do I see a compass at use there) and your handling of the medium. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteNice! I had a hard time with the acrylics but yours look great. Simpler turned out pretty well in this one :)
